Social media image size cheat sheet and sized guide.

Twitter’s news, a celebration of equality and useful resources from our tours from the internet this week and our Social media image size cheat sheet to help you on your journey to becoming a social media guru.

The news everyone's talking about: Twitter’s 140 characters will actually mean 140 characters

It’s been rumoured for a while and it’s now official: when your tweet includes attachments like photos, GIFs, videos, polls, or Quote Tweets, that media will no longer count as characters. Also, when replying to a tweet, @names will no longer count toward the 140-character count and if you start a tweet with @name, you’ll no longer need to add a full stop at the beginning for everyone to be able to see it.

We’ll have to keep our enthusiasm in check for a while longer. Even now, when the decision is official, it’s still work-in-progress at Twitter HQ but at least our Social media image size cheat sheet will help for now.
